Happy Birthday Mum!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUM!WE LOVE YOU!!
Today is my dear mothers birthday!Today she turned 54,time is flying by so fast,I still can hardly believe my younger sisters are nearly grown and my mother has 3 grandchildren.Seems like just yesterday that the other kids were in school and I was home alone with my mum and little sisters,having tea together,sewing,reading,milking goats,shopping etc.
Everyday I thank God for giving me a wonderful,godly mum.I thank God that she cares about me and my girls and that she is there for me when times are hard.

Every morning I call my mum,usually even before Im out of bed to say Good morning and tell her how much I love her.Daisy loves to call her and tell her all about her day,it is always a special treat for her to go spend the day with grandma.So,this morning Daisy,Lilly and I took a gift,flowers,and stuff to make almond lattes,along with apple fritters and spent a wonderful morning with my mum.

The girls had a fun time reading stories with grandma and playing with Angel their kitten.

A Little About Me

Thanks for taking the time to stop by to see what is going on in our world today!

First of all I am so blessed to be the single parent of the two most beautiful little girls in the world.My oldest,Daisy is 6 1/2 and my baby Lilly just turned 5.

Daisy was born premature at 27 weeks weighing in at a whopping 1lb 15 oz when she went inat 8 days old for heart surgery,we spent a total of nearly 17 weeks in the hospital between us when she was born,she still has a few residual medical issues including severe GERD,Chronic Lung Disease,Asthma,Bronchial Pulmonary Dispalsia,and she struggles with significant behavior issues .All in all she has done wonderfully thru it all and has come thru it all with a wonderful,happy,bubbly personality.She is definitely the life of the party!

Lilly has struggled with undiagnosed medical issues since birth,she has been hospitalized twice with no explantion for her issues.She has quit breathing requiring CPR until medical personell arrived.She has received both speech and occupational therapy and is deveolpmentally delayed,she has a severe Sensory Processing Disorder,along with significant Anxiety issues.She has been unofficially diagnosed by her pediatrician with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder,a sleep disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and Autism or a related disorder such as Pervasive Development Disorder or Aspergers.Every day with Lilly presents a new challenge,she has tremendous behavior issues and screams nonstop for hours on end.It is always so hard to know what is the right thing to do to make her happy because she often seems so miserable for no reason.However thru it all she is the light of my life and I could not enjoy life without her beautiful face and complex personality to help me thru every day.

I can honestly say I love our life and there isn't anything I would change,my kids are amazing and the light of my life, without them I would be nothing.

I am a stay-at-home mother and homemaker.I love to be at home with my children,I love to cook and clean my house,I have a small patio garden for the first time this year and Im very excited to see how it does.In exchange for dance lessons for my oldest I do all the costume sewing for a local dance theater.
