Sensory Time
Lilly is struggling alot with her sensory issues lately so I have been trying to incorporate more and more sensory activities throughout our day.Last night was our first activity with shaving cream,Lilly was not sure what to think!Daisy loved every minute of it!

Lilly's new Adapted Pajamas
It has been a huge issue with Lilly taking off all her clothes at night and pooping and peeing all over her bedroom for months now.I have tried everything from taping her diapers on to putting on onesies with backwards diapers,backwards jammies,you name it I tried it.
Last week I went to Wal-mart looking to get Lilly a couple pairs of pajamas and I found an awesome deal with little girls jammies marked down to $1!I bought her about 6 pairs and I bought a few 12 inch zippers.Tonight I finally got time to sit down to the sewing machine and start sewing on the first pair.I had several things I needed to alter/adapt to make the jammies work for us.First off the jammie legs were a little too long on the size 3T but the 24month were just too snug,so I put a growth tuck inthe bottom of the legs so we could let them out in a few months.Then I needed to make them so she couldnt get them off to smear feces all over the walls,so I sewed the shirt to the pants and put a zipper in the back.So far good luck!She cant get them off!But...she is way mad about it!!!

Warm Weather!
We finally have warm weather!I am soo excited :) I got the tomatoes planted and outside,the lettuce is growing quickly and the girls are very excited to be able to play outside!We even had snow a week ago so warm weather has been slow in coming this spring.
We are all doing well,and I totally love my life!

Its Been so loooong
I have fallen so far behind in blogging the events of our lives,so I will try to catch up a little.
The girls have been sick with fevers and runny noses the past couple days,so I have been busy with them in between keeping up with laundry and cleaning.

We planted 6 planter boxes full of different kinds of lettuce and salad mixes.They just popped up within the last week!
We also planted a container tomato plant,I haven never done container gardening so this is a new experiment!My mum bought me two more tomato plants that I need to get pots for. I'm really,really excited about having a garden this year although our space is very limited,I think our back patio is like 5'x11' so its kind of going to be a tight squeeze lol
It really has snowed off and on the past week here so it has been kind of hard for the girls,not to mention each time the weather gets cold I bring in my plants (one upside to container gardening:)
I have been working on making the front porch/patio look like our house is lived in,I have been planting flowers and trying to come up with lots of cute ideas.Living on the 2nd floor of an apartment building meant I haven't had even a patio for almost 5 years now so any outdoor space is a precious commodity I will never for granted again!

Sewingroom Ideas?
Not alot going on here,still finishing up little things,getting ready to work on my sewing room but looking for some good inspiration on google I came across a few pics that I might be able to take some ideas from.I LOVE the pink walls in pic 1 but since we rent that is out lol Pic 2 I love the different work spaces and Pic 3 I like the board on the wall to hang stuff.My room isn't large and is a hugs mess of boxes and things right now,but hopefully by next weekend it will be well on its way to becoming a usable space I love spending time in!

Easter Egg Hunt
The girls had sooooo much fun at the egg hunt Nick's mum put on for them yesterday.They are the only grandkids on his side of the family so they tend to go a little overboard lol but I guarantee the girls dont mind!
